Bonded Fiberglass Thermoplastic Composite Pipe Machinery

Thermoplastic Composite Pipe machinery  (TCP) is the next generation in high-pressure pipelines with fully bonded technology. TCP composite pipe machinery line is next generation of  RTP machinery line with a bonded reinforcement layer.

 

The Banline TCP-ULTRA™ bonded fiberglass thermoplastic composite pipe machinery system is able to manufacture higher pressure with greater temperature resistance,corrosion-resistance fiberglass TCP pipe, which suitable for a wide range of applications (oil & gas, water), making it the 21st-century composite pipe machinery solution.

Be simplified to distinguish fiberglass RTP, FCP, and TCP pipe is to clarify whether the reinforced layer overwrapped with bonded or unbonded glass fiber composites. RTP, FCP usually overwrapped with unbonded-glass fiber composites, but fiberglass TCP overwrapped with bonded glass fiber composites.

 

TCP pipes consist of reinforced thermoplastic composites, quite similar as RTP pipes, they are suited to higher pressures and a greater temperature range for two reasons:

 

First, some TCP uses higher-performing thermoplastic resins, such as PEEK, and/or higher strength reinforcement like carbon fiber.

 

Second, TCP layers are bonded to each other through melt-fusion, which yields higher performance properties than RTP made from the same materials.

Fiberglass Tape

For oil gas thermoplastic composite pipe machinery, we design new fiberglass tape wrapping & heating solution that different from the current market. Fully customizable with efficiency solutions, which is how we called innovation.

 

Pipe production per fiberglass tape can continuously produce up to 7,000 m fiberglass TCP, which brings more convenience and composite pipe machinery efficiency.

The fiberglass tape width, the thickness can be adjusted based on the working pressure requirement.

Fiberglass tape thickness : 0.35mm ~ 0.4 mm

Tape width : 90 ~ 360mm

Pressure: 700, 800 Mpa or more

Pipe Joining Solution

Fiberglass TCP is terminated or joined by metallic crimp-style fittings which are applied with portable equipment and do not require the application of heat or adhesives.

 

The fittings can terminate the pipe with a standard lap-joint flange or with a weld neck transition that allows direct connection to steel using standard field welding procedures. Pipe-to-pipe couplings allow one length of TCP to be connected directly to another.

This joining system significantly reduces the time, effort, and cost of forming pipeline connections. Costly multiple-pass welding procedures and detailed inspections are eliminated, and far fewer joints are required for a given length of pipe. The overall result is faster, less costly installation with less environmental impact.

China Lesso Group Holdings (Stock code:02128.HK) has over 30 years of experience in production and R&D in the pipeline field, pipelines with an annual design capacity of over 2,500,000 tons.

In 2019, as one of the exclusive clients, LESSO has purchased entire bonded fiberglass TCP machinery line solution ( 3 lines - DN 50 ~ DN630) to replace their RTP machinery line. Banline provides entire pipeline production solutions such as manufacturing, connection, standard-setting etc.
